Course Schedule Maker guide
Generate a practical weekly course schedule by entering real meeting constraints, then inspect overlaps before registration.
Start with sections and constraints that matter: no class before 9am, a Thursday lab, a room change, a commute between buildings, or a professor section you need.
This browser tool helps you assemble and compare a schedule; it does not connect to your registrar or auto-reshuffle classes. You remain in control of which section is valid for your degree.
A list can hide a MWF 9:00–9:50 class under a Tuesday item. A time grid makes overlaps, long gaps, lab sessions, and late evenings visible at the moment you choose them.
Once the week is right, print it, save it as a PDF or PNG, and import a one-time .ics copy into your calendar. Keep the read-only share link for an advisor or study partner.
Write down the constraints first: earliest start, latest finish, required labs, no-class days, campus location, work shifts, and study windows. Then add the real sections and let the grid show whether the constraints actually fit together.
Automatic reshuffling can choose a section that does not satisfy your degree plan, prerequisite, instructor preference, or commute. The tool flags the conflict and leaves the meaningful decision with you.
After comparing alternatives, keep one final schedule and export it. A clean printed page plus a one-time ICS import is easier to trust than a calendar full of abandoned section tests.
